DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Terrorist Mohammad Deib Atiyyah on Saturday confessed to participating in killing two law-enforcement members; martyr Nawaf Mohammad Ismael and martyr Ali Naif Khidr.

In his confessions broadcast on the Syrian TV, terrorist Atiyyah said "On 23rd of August, a member of my group phoned me asking me to watch Nawaf Mohammad Ismael and Ali Naif Khidr who used to go from Attibeh to al-Jeeza area in Daraa."

He added "We watched the law-enforcement personnel and then kidnapped them after threatening them with our pistols… We took them to a farm, tied them up and asked them questions about their colleagues and officers from their post."

"After that, we took them to an area about 200 meters far from the farm, there were old pits, we killed them and buried them in the pits," Atiyyah confessed.

Terrorist Atiyyah pointed out that he and terrorist Maher al-Nazzal were detained, adding that the competent authorities caught with them a military pistol and an ak-47 rifle with its ammunition, indicating that the guns they used were smuggled from Jordan.

"Our group has pistols, pump-action shotguns, ak-47 rifles, night-vision binoculars, explosive devices and communication devices via satellite," the terrorist said.

He also confessed that his group had committed two crimes in Ramadan, as it had set an ambush for a traffic police vehicle and for a criminal security vehicle.

He said that they opened heavy fire on the ambushed cars and they lobbed a grenade at them.
