フランスと米国は、リビア・シナリオをシリアで再現したいため、シリア問題に関するロシアの立場を無視している。

ロシアはこのシナリオを望んでおらず、中国と共に開戦を防ぐ共同の努力を続けていく。

Professor of political science at the University of Moscow, Igor Panarin, he expressed his belief that the West, led by France and the United States ignores Moscow's position of the Syrian file, because it (the West) want to repeat the Libyan scenario in Syria.

He said in an interview with the channel "Russia Today" on February 9 that "Russia does not want this scenario, and will continue its joint efforts with China to prevent the outbreak of war."

Reference to "Aspects of the New Cold War new in the world", he stressed that who is behind them is Britain, which is trying to use the United States as a machine for waging this war, in addition to the "use of media such as the "BBC" and "Al Jazeera" in order to create a distorted picture of what's happening in the world."

Panarin felt that the West's position is not uniform, expressing his hope that the supported countries such as Germany and Turkey, in order to stop the escalation of violence in Syria.
