Chemical engineer, Dr. Mudayyin Saafi, won prize for the best invention in the field of environment and the Second Prize in the field of creativity and technical innovation, and in the last week in the competition of creativity and technical innovation for young people in the Arab world, which the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Education (ALECSO), a subsidiary of the Arab League set up in Tunisia, where the award is a medal, and the amount of $ 6000.

Saafi told SANA's economic bulletin that the importance of his invention is to produce relatively expensive products, and is (hydroxyl Abbateb), used in dental fillings, and treatment of osteoporosis, in addition to other minor products, and through the transfer of Syrian phosphate, or its aftermath solution to the high saturation, and the separation of these compounds by precipitation stages.

He considered that the net economic feasibility of the present invention are realized, and up to tens of times, what is obtained upon the sale of phosphate ore.

Previously the inventor obtained a patent from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in 2009, and two honors, one from the Indian Association of Applied Geochemistry, and the other from the International Conference of the minerals in Indore, India.

The net is the only Syrian, which proceeded to the award (ALECSO), in addition to seventeen scholars and other Arabs creators.
