アレッポ県では、10月からネット・カフェとゲーム店の営業時間を規制したが、その後、停電するようになり、停電時間と営業規制の両方で、実質的な営業時間を確保できないと、経営者たちから県知事に11月、苦情を申し入れていた。
それを受け、県知事は、ネット・カフェについては規制を撤回することを決めた。しかし、アタリ、プレーステーションの店に対する規制は継続する。

Allowed the Executive Office of the Council of the province of Aleppo Internet cafes open 24 hours a day, and the abolition of the restriction of these cafes opening and closing hours, in response to complaints from owners of Internet cafes.
The owners of Internet cafes complained of inability to work according to deadlines, which most of the open cafes are experiencing frequent power cuts.
And holding the Executive Office of the Provincial Council meeting today, Thursday, chaired by the Governor of Aleppo Muwaffaq Khallouf, with cancellation of the timeliness of opening and closing shops on the work of the Internet, while still obliged to comply with restrictions for Playstation and computer games.
Internet cafes and suffered from frequent closures during the previous two months, because of violation of the opening and closing times.
The Executive Office of the Aleppo Governorate issued earlier in October, select which hours of opening and closing Internet cafes and computer games and Atari and PlayStation, and sanctions against offenders, where the resolution set out the working hours of Internet cafés from 9 am until 10 at night in winter and from 9 am until 11 at night in summer, while the select working hours shop computer games and Atari and PlayStation from 12 noon until 8 at night in winter and from 11 noon until 9 pm in the summer, while excluded the new resolution Internet cafes.
