Quoted by local media source that President Bashar al-Assad will be in the next few days to the Commission for amending the constitution, as previously announced by Assad in his last words will be edited including the Constitution, including Article VIII on the exclusivity Baath Party to lead the state and society.

The magazine quoted "al-Iqtisadi" from the source that the Committee would include opposition figures and will work according to a specific timetable and stated, after the committee initially met two months ago under the chairmanship of Dean of the Graduate Institute of Business Administration Sam Dallah, and approved in principle a number of amendments to the Constitution, including articles on the election of the President Republic and the duration of his mandate a maximum of two sessions.
