シリア社会保険会社と契約を結んだ病院、検査機関、薬局が5000社を超えた。同社は、今は現役の労働者とその家族をカバーすることに力を注いでおり、今後は退職者をカバーしたいと考えている。

Damascus, (SANA) – After a year of launching the project of Health Insurance, the Syrian Insurance Company is satisfied with what has been achieved despite of the obstacles hindering its work.
Director-General of the Company, Suleiman al-Hassan said the priorities of the Company aim at overcoming all the obstacles facing the implementation of its project, and taking into consideration the raised notes regarding it, in addition to tackling the means of broadening the basis of the proposed health services.
He added that the Company works on finding a suitable formula to provide the required insurance for the workers' families in accordance with their incomes, pointing out that the next step of the Company's plan is to include all the retirees.
Al-Hassan pointed out that the number of health institutions contracted with the Company is 5, 000 from all over Syria including hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies.
He indicated that the main goal of the project is to include the workers deprived of health system.
He added that during the economic feasibility study of the project Chairman of the Board of the Insurance Supervision Commission and Minister of Finance stressed that the project is not an investment project and it doesn't aim at covering and studying the prices.
He asserted that the company doesn't want to deal with the insured workers as second-class patients through compensating the doctors and service providers according to the upper-limit tariff of the Ministry of Health.
