Damascus, (SANA) - Minister of Finance Mohammad al-Hussein on Thursday underlined the importance of Health Insurance Project for state workers, stressing the Ministry's keenness to make this project a success through providing the service to all workers.
Chairing the meeting of the technical committee of the Project, the Minister clarified that 60% of the workers targeted has benefited from the project's service since its start, who count 350 thousand.
Al-Hussein underlined that the Project's service would gradually cover all workers as a first step, pointing out that Insurance Supervisory Commission seriously considers including state workers' families in health insurance as a second step, which will cost SYP 4 billions annually as estimated.
