BEIRUT, (SANA)- Lebanese Technical Committee for controlling joint borders with Syria, headed by Interior Minister Marwan Shibel, discussed on Tuesday the performance of the Committee during the current stage.
Lebanese National Media Agency said that during the meeting, the debates raised some problems and incidents that security forces encounter along the borders, adding that a second meeting will be held to discuss reports prepared in Lebanon to make a comprehensive strategy to control joint borders.
The meeting comes in light of reports which stress there are a lot of weapons' smuggling and armed men infiltrating into Syria from Lebanon.
