Announced that the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday it was in contact and meetings with the Syrian opposition in Damascus.
The news channel "Russia Today" for the official spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Ukashević, diplomats at the Russian embassy in Damascus to hold meetings with representatives of the Syrian opposition and told them the Russian stance towards situation in Syria.
Ukashević said that "the Russian position will be understood by opponents during most meetings."
Russia calls on the Syrian opposition is always to engage in dialogue with the authorities and the acceptance of democratic initiatives made by the system.
And the Russian Foreign ministry warned that the western countries have repeatedly su；pport the Syrian opposition, noting that it has armed factions, and the Russian Foreign Ministry see foreign intervention in the internal affairs of Syria that could lead to deterioration of the situation in the region.
