ダマスカス商工会議所が首相に26の要望提出

国際的な危機が国内産業に与える影響を軽減する措置。例えば、

譲渡性ローンの供与、債務のリスケ、支払い猶予、いくつかの料金徴収免除、それらに関する行政手続きの簡素化、事業者に対する燃料支援、電気料金メーターの確保(?)、関税トラブルの解決。

また、工業都市建設以前から存在する事業者に対する暫定的免許を恒久的免許に置き換える、輸入品の強制保険を廃止、輸入品のネガティブリスト廃止、特に中小企業のためダマスカスと郊外での工業都市建設、フリーゾーンにある工業都市の改善。

両者の会議は3時間にわたり、首相は、これらの要望について原則的に合意し、それぞれ担当の省庁に伝達することを約束。会議には首相の他、経済閣僚も出席。商工会議所側は、これらの要望はダマスカスだけでなく全国の事業者の利益になるものであると強調。

Dr. Adel Safar, the Prime Minister that the government takes all the attention being on the reality of the work of the industrial sector and to meet the needs and requirements support and development.

The Safar presided over the meeting today qualitatively at the Damascus Chamber of Industry and surroundings to the importance of communication and interaction with the economic activities in the framework of the principle of participatory and transparency in decision-making and to achieve the balance of public and private interest, pointing to the role that support him the Government on the industrial sector in the provision of employment opportunities and increasing export capacity of Syrian products to foreign markets.

During the meeting, discuss the issues presented by the industrialists and proposals Damascus Chamber of Industry and surroundings in order to support the industrial sector at this stage to mitigate the effects and repercussions of the global crisis on the domestic industry, which included a set of demands of industrial focused on granting loans to industrialists on concessional terms and reschedule some debts and give them additional periods for payment and exemption from certain fees and benefits of the simplification of administrative procedures related to them.

It also included a proposal to support industrial and industrial energy and securing electricity meters and modify the settlement of the user of customs violations and the transfer of licenses Interim Administration of the industrial installations that existed before the establishment of cities and industrial areas to the licenses and lasting settlement of their status and the abolition of compulsory insurance on imports and re-consideration to study the negative list of imports and the mechanism of control and the establishment of industrial zone in Damascus and its countryside especially small and medium enterprises and to address the situation of existing industrial plants in the free zone.

It was decided at the meeting to approve the initial response to these demands in principle and forwarded to the concerned ministries and the Economic Commission for examination and verification procedures and to propose administrative or legislative amendments to address them and find appropriate solutions during the period of close and in coordination with the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry.

The meeting was attended by ministers of industry and finance, economy, trade, electricity and Social Affairs and Labor and the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the President and members of the Damascus Chamber of Industry and surroundings.

In a statement to reporters said Industry Minister Adnan Slakhu to the government's efforts to help small and medium-sized industrial and especially troubled them across a range of actions to reduce the cost of industrial product through the reduction of customs duties and taxes in order to continue to work and production and the preservation of their workers.

And that the coming stage will witness a process of support for the public sector industry, which will be linked to the process management of public funds which will be reflected certainly on the activity and effectiveness of these industrial enterprises of small and medium-pointing to the intention of the Ministry of Industry to re-examine the topic of censorship on imports of raw materials for industry cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Trade.

For his part, between the President of Damascus Chamber of Industry Emad Ghreiwati it has been discuss 26 demand of the industrialists and private owners of small and medium enterprises who are faltering as a result of the circumstances in which the country is undergoing, explaining that the Prime Minister promised to issue decisions and the necessary legislation at the earliest possible time.

He pointed out that the most important demands made by the industrialists to reduce cost of industrial production in small and medium enterprises and give them some incentives, soft loans and help them to continue and maintain the existing facilities and not to lay off any workers in those facilities.

He pointed to what the government is doing in their support for the national industry as the locomotive of growth, pointing out that what is discussed does not matter industrialists in Damascus and its countryside, but also all industrialists in all provinces to provide support for them to work and to continue production in general, and give assurance to the industry to hold on to its business and employment and production.
